Stretch Film vs Shrink Wrap
Despite being similar products, stretch wrap and shrink wrap have key differences. Stretch film, when wrapped around a product, tries to shrink back down to it’s original size and thus gives keeps a tight hold around the product it’s wrapping. Easy for your colleagues to use, it’s available in either hand stretch film rolls, or you can use a dispenser for higher volumes. Plus, SriSaiPack stocks both blown and cast stretch film, so you can choose what best suits your business’ needs.
Shrink wrap on the other hand does all of this, except you need to add heat using dedicated equipment. This may seem like a disadvantage, but once this has been applied, the material shrinks down tightly around the contours of your products which makes it ideal for awkward shapes like ladders. You may need to spend a little extra at the beginning but it’s well worth the investment.
Both options add a dust-proof, water resistant layer of protection around your products. Plus this layer will secure and stabilise your products while they’re being delivered to your customers or when they’re sitting in storage.
